How we
work.
No open roles right now. Here's what the work looks like and who fits it.
-
01
We hire when the work demands it.
Not when a round closes, not when a quarter starts. Some years we add nobody. Some quarters we add three.
-
02
Small, by design and forever.
We don't intend to grow into a hundred-person company. The product gets sharper with fewer hands on it. Every person here owns more than they would anywhere else; that's the trade we offer and the trade we demand.
-
03
Quiet over loud.
We don't list our customers or publish metrics for their own sake. The best work in this market is done by people who don't need public credit for it — and we hire for that disposition.
-
04
Tell the truth, kindly.
Direct in the moment, written down when it has to stick. Disagree out loud, commit once decided, never re-litigate in DMs. We give feedback because we take the work seriously, and we take it seriously because we like each other.
-
05
Bias toward auditability.
Every signal we ship carries its receipt. We work that way internally too — decisions are written, models are versioned, mistakes are owned in public, inside the team. Calmness is downstream of records.
-
06
Distributed, deliberate.
The team spans time zones and we intend to keep it that way. Work runs across the full clock because the markets do. We meet often and write the rest of the time.
If any of this reads like the place you'd want to be when something opens — write to us. Not a résumé. A few paragraphs. We answer everything that arrives.
